Matt Abdou: Developing for Google Glass

The Big Android BBQ is happy to have Matt Abdou, long time friend and volunteer for past BABBQs, speaking about Google Glass this year!

Matt's session will start with a basic introduction to Glass - how it works and how it's used in daily life. It will then go into the basics of development - authentication, the Mirror API, best practices and examples. Since the Mirror API is RESTful, just about any developer will be able to understand the concepts and examples that are presented. The session will then conclude with an opportunity for Q&A.

Matt Abdou is a Silicon Valley-based web and mobile developer, and has been a contributing member of the Big Android BBQ since the first event in 2010. He brings his experience as an Android developer, enthusiast, and all-around geek to the event.
