In this talk, you will learn how to take the basics given to you in the SDK's Holo Theme and turn a boring app into an app that excites users and gets people talking. You'll learn how to get started with design for your app and ways to capitalize on the building blocks of UI available within the SDK. We'll cover the design guidelines, styles & themes, attributes, and mobile design principles that are important to Android development, including:

• User Experience fundamentals
• Using Analytics to ensure that your app's design is actually working
