Growing Up Android

This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Big Android BBQ. What started with a few people in a backyard in 2009 has transformed into a year round family on the forefront of all things android. We aren't quite sure where the time has gone, but we certainly know what has gotten us to this point; the continued support of our speakers, sponsors, and attendees.

It is common knowledge that we are the best value of any tech conference, but this year we pledge to give you even more. More top-notch speakers, more exhibitors, more learning opportunities, and more time to network with colleagues and connect with friends. We have been hard at work in the off-season preparing for, what is destined to be, the biggest and best BABBQ yet.
The first thing you've probably noticed is that we've completely refreshed and updated our website. We also brought some new talent onto the Big Android BBQ web dev, social media, and sponsorship teams. They have hit the ground running and are already making some huge contributions. In addition, we are in the processes of re-tooling our Code Kitchen based on feedback we received from the follow up survey last year.
We have a lot more exciting stuff in the works that we will be revealing in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on this blog and our social streams. Again, thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the Hurst Conference Center again this year!

Remember to follow us on Google+, Facebook, and Twitter to keep up with the latest #BABBQ5 news and developments.
