The Big Android BBQ is more than just an enthusiasts conference. Over the past 3 years, the BABBQ has become more developer focused, offering sessions that provide the most recent knowledge and insight for developers of all skill levels. Does that mean that we've forgotten about our other attendees? Absolutely not! We still offer a variety of benefits for enthusiasts, tinkerers, and technologists that we will be detailing in subsequent articles.
In addition to our sessions, last year we added the Code Kitchen. Think of it as a persistent workshop staffed by members of the Google Developer Group (GDG) Dallas. It runs from the beginning through the end of the BABBQ and offers tips, tricks, instruction, and challenges to android devs. Learn something new in a session and want to try it out? Always wanted to try your hand at coding? The Code Kitchen is the place for you! Stop in and let our experts guide you through the process of downloading and installing the android SDK as well as writing up your first lines of code.
This year, we are dedicated to making the Code Kitchen even better. Stay tuned for details as we once again team with the GDG Dallas to nail down the details.
Still have picked up your tickets? Make sure to head over and grab them NOW!
