You read that right folks! Googlers Reto Meier and Timothy Jordan will be giving the KeyNote address at the Big Android BBQ on October 17! Their talk will cover the evolution of Android, starting first as a mobile platform and later its emergence into wearables.

Reto Meier manages the Scalable Developer Advocacy team as part of Google's Developer Relations organization.

Timothy is a Senior Developer Advocate at Google for Google Glass and Android Wear.

It should be no surprise that having Google participation in this year's conference is extremely exciting. The Big Android BBQ has come a long way since our back yard days of 2009. Each year we've worked hard to bring you preeminent speakers, awesome sponsors and the most fun we could, all while keeping our ticket prices extremely low and giving back to the community. We honestly couldn't think of a better way to kick off our fifth anniversary conference than to have these two tech thought leaders present the keynote.

This isn't the only Google-flavored news we've got, so make sure to stay tuned over the next week as we will be detailing even more Google involvement.

Excited for the KeyNote?!? Head on over and grab your ticket TODAY!
