The Big Android BBQ Heads to Europe this Fall
International Developer Education and Advocacy Alliance announces event to expand to Amsterdam, November 12-14, 2015

Europe is about to get a big helping of authentic Texas BBQ delivered right to their backyard.

The 2015 Big Android BBQ Amsterdam ( will follow in the footsteps of its older brother (The Original BABBQ in Texas) with a few modifications. As before, thought leaders and senior developers from across the world will be lead sessions filled with new strategies, analyzing of trends, and the next big idea. In Amsterdam, sessions will be separated into five tracks, tailored for developers with a strong focus in a certain area.

The five tracks are:
  • "Hardcore Android" (advanced track)
  • "Android & Things" (IoT)
  • "Android and You" (anything goes)
  • "World of Android" (e.g. auto, med tech)
  • "Android & Humans" (design & interaction)

The signature Code Kitchen will be opened throughout the event for attendees to try their newly-acquired skills where they’ll be able to win some big prizes from the sponsors. And, as always, each night will end with a peaceful gathering of like-minded individuals surrounded by good vibes, meat, and beer.

“Amsterdam is a monumental stepping stone for the IDEAA team. We’re making great progress in our never-ending mission to empower developers of all levels by taking our events across the globe. We can wait to share these moments with the attendees in Europe, because it will truly be an experience that we will never forget.” - Aaron Kasten, CEO and Founder of IDEAA.

The 2015 Big Android BBQ Amsterdam is delivered to you in cooperation with Google Developers, Dutch Android User Group & Startup Amsterdam. More information about the event and registration options can be found at
