Speaker Spotlight: Timothy Jordan

Like Colt McAnlis, who will be speaking at this year's Big Android BBQ, Timothy Jordan is also a Developer Advocate at Google. Timothy has been with Google for almost six years, and focuses primarily on driving third-party developers to bring the end user new experiences.

Previously, Timothy was an Instructor at the Academy of Art University, where he taught Advertising, Web Design, and New Media. In addition to teaching, he was instrumental in implementing the curriculum for courses such as Flash, HTML, CSS, and PhotoShop. However, the Academy of Art University was not Timothy's first stop as an Instructor. That title belongs to the Digital Media Academy, where Mr. Jordan taught C++ Game Programming, Final Cut Studio, along others. DMAX Imaging is where Timothy was the lead and manager multiple web servers. In addition to managing multiple Linuxbased web servers, he was helped in the engineering process while using various languages, such as Flash, ActionScript, PHP, and CSS.

Timothy will bring a similar, yet different approach to the minds attending the 2015 Big Android BBQ. With the great experiences that Timothy has had, we can only hope that he shares some of those with us in the audience.
