Announcement: The 2016 Big Android BBQ Needs Volunteers!

Each year the staff at IDEAA produces numerous events. From our Code KitchenTM and Meat and Greet events in DC, San Francisco, and Seattle to our signature event in Hurst, TX - The Big Android BBQ, these information-packed events draw in multitudes of people, from students to veteran developers and beyond. The speakers and presenters we invite provide a wealth of information, knowledge, and experience that everyone can benefit from.

There is only one issue: To provide everyone with such an awesome experience, we require people behind the scenes to help make sure that things go smoothly.

This is where you come in.

There will be a variety of positions available -- ranging from BBQing, packet stuffing, registration pick-up and more -- with time slots open from October 18 to October 23. Volunteers will be required to work their specific roles and functions during the BBQ. At the same time, you will be able to experience the Big Android BBQ through a different lens -- getting to know the inner workings, and providing that additional pair of helping hands to make sure that all BABBQ attendees have a top-notch experience!

So, do YOU want to be included in the most ANTICIPATED, most EXCITING, and SAUCIEST mobile developer event this year? Oh, you do?! PERFECT!

Check out our  IDEAA Events Volunteer Form. Fill it out, hit “Submit”, and our Volunteer Coordination Team will contact you with all the information you will need in order to assist us this year. Volunteering has its perks, but we'll save those details for later.

So, are you ready to take on something bigger than yourself? To do your part for the betterment of other attendees? Then this is your chance!

Sign up to be a Volunteer today, and experience the Big Android BBQ in ways you’ve never expected!

If you have any questions, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Mikki Torres ([email protected])!
